My name is Randi Nannini.  I am a first grade teacher at Zamora Elementary.

Little known fact, I was actually born in Woodland and lived in this town until I was about 8 years old.  I moved to a small town just outside of Mt. Shasta where I lived until I moved to college.  I attended Sac State where I received my Bachelor's Degree and Teaching Credential.

I have been teaching for 26 years.  I started teaching kindergarten at a Montessori school in Sacramento.  I then moved to the Natomas Unified School District where I also taught kindergarten.  I took a little time off to care for my children.  When I returned to teaching, I started here at Zamora Elementary.  I have taught kindergarten, second grade, and first grade.

I am married to Brian Nannini, a Fire Captain in the Bay Area.  I have two children, both boys, Michael and Jeffrey.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending as much time with my family as possible.  That time usually involves attending sporting events for my children.  We also spend a lot of time at our ranch where we enjoy hunting and fishing.

In addition to my family time, I volunteer much of my time with an organization C.O.P.S.  I travel around the country supporting and mentoring children who have experienced trauma due to a LODD.

Here at Zamora I enjoy spending time with my colleagues, attending conferences to better hone my craft, advocating for my students, and bringing joy to the workplace.
