Zamora Elementary

My name is Hilda Herrera. Every year, I cannot wait to meet my new group of fabulous students.  With over two decades of teaching experience, I bring knowledge and expertise to the classroom. I am committed to creating a fun and educational environment for all students.

 

I enjoy creating a community with families and students. With the established learning community, I strive to make myself accessible, support students in a positive environment, have open communication with families, and provide opportunities for learning through collaborations and experiences outside the classroom (field trips). 

 

Third grade can be challenging. By providing positive experiences, I aim to allow students to feel safe enough to contribute to their growth and development. I am genuinely invested in making a lasting impression on their educational journey. 

 

My husband and I have 4 amazing children.  Watching them grow is the biggest privilege of my life. Zamora Elementary is my home away from home.  I enjoy working with my colleagues and continually being a part of this great team.
