Zamora Elementary

I’m Katie Balukoff and I’m a 6th grade teacher. I’ve taught 6th grade at Zamora for the past twelve years and enjoy preparing students for the transition to middle school.

I was born and raised in Woodland, graduating from Woodland High and then attending UC Davis where I majored in English. I then attended Sac State where I received my teaching credential.

My family (husband Brian and daughters Reagan and Stella) and I live here in Woodland. My daughters both attend Zamora and my husband also attended Zamora when he was younger.

When I’m not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, reading, watching reality television, and working out. I LOVE coffee and drink Starbucks almost every day.

At Zamora, I advise our school’s Student Council, coach our cross country team, and am a member of the PTA. I love being involved and supporting my students!
